Scott Place ~Indie Recording Artist~

— Jared Story of UpTown Magazine says;
~~ Got Something to Say ... Place's debut is a well-crafted, acoustically driven, alt-rock album. The tuneful tones found on If I Had a Time Machine and 100 Years should please fans of easy-listening pop-rock, while the title track and You're All That I Dream kick it up a notch~~ ( Jared Story- Uptown- Dec. 3rd 2009 )
Here's what someone who bought the CD on itunes recently had to say:
Can you say Beatles! ***** (5 stars out of 5)
by STerEoPhOniC HiGhNeSs
I bought and listened to this entire album and was floor by the (first) 5 songs. 'Heroes' is a must listen with haunting vocals reminding me of some Beatles/Lennon vocals. Here's what someone else who bought the CD on itunes recently had to say: Great album in general. You can hear the many influenced, the Beatles being front and center. I enjoyed listening to the CD a couple of times over and can tell you how great each song is. Fav. Song is We Shared These Dreams. I wondered why though why 100 Years appeared twice?
As someone who has been in the music scene for years, I highly recommend you give this a listen to. These upbeat melodies and harmonies have great production and sound. I particularily enjoyed the
lyrics too with many developed storylines with a sense of jaded and haunting lyrics.
Excellent and safe choice and you can't go wrong here.
